Justice project PSEFS presented in Brussels
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivana Kunda and Assist. Prof. Dr. Sandra Winkler participated on behalf of the Faculty of Law in Rijeka at the presentation of the Justice project PSEFS – Personalized Solution in European Family and Succession Law (No. 800821-JUST-AG-2017/JUST-JCOO-AG-2017), held in Brussels on 14 December 2018.
Erasmus + Mobility Agreement signed with Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia)
The University of Rijeka signed the Erasmus + Mobility Agreement with the Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) for the field of law. The agreement was signed for the period 2019 to 2021 and includes student mobility for the purposes of studies and and teaching staff mobility for teaching. The foundation "Zlatko Crnić" awarded the best students with scholarships
The foundation "Zlatko Crnić" held its annual ceremony to honour the work of the very best students of law faculties in Croatia, awarding them with its generous scholarships. Ranking among the eleven best aspiring law professionals is our student, Sven Sušanj. We congratulate him on this outstanding success, the result of his hard work and dedication! |

Our students follow newest developments in criminal law
On Monday 10 December 2018, our students, including Erasmus+ students, enrolled in the course Juvenile Justice Law took part in the II. International Biannual Conference organised by the Association of Juvenile and Family Judges and Experts in Children and Youth (USZM) about the Stop Programme. Among many distinguished speakers in this conference focused on the rights of children and youth in criminal proceedings and application of alternative approach – diversion, was also Assistants Professor Dalida Rittossa from our Faculty.
RiDoc 2018
Rijeka Doctoral Conference gathered excellent postgraduate students from 12 countries. They had the opportunity to talk to Mr. Baričević, Head of the European Commission Representation in the Republic of Croatia, about the future of EU.
Professor Ćorić awarded by the professionals
On 6 December 2018, as part of the Days of Croatian Maritime and Internal Water Navigation, a ceremony was held at which recognitions were awarded to experts contributing to the development of the maritime legislation. Among them is Prof. Dr. Dorotea Ćorić, Head of the Chair of Maritime and General Transport Law and the Faculty of Law in Rijeka. Congratulations!
