Digital market and new legal regulation
Part of the scientific conference Giornata di studio del Nord Adriatico - temi giuridici di attualità / North Adriatic Scientific Colloquium - Current Legal Topics held at the Faculty of Law in Rijeka on 4 July 2019, was the session titled “Current Issues in Digital Single Market”. Discussion identified some typical legal problems encountered by entrepreneurs when dealing with new digital technologies and showed that the existing rules are sometimes not sufficient, but also that introducing new rules at the very beginning inevitable opens certain questions and leaves ample room for improvement. This session is organized as a part of the UNIRI project no. 18-214 “Efficient regulation of digital market as an Incentive for the innovation in the ICT sector”. Participants to the session were: the members of the project team Vlatka Butorac Malnar and Danijela Vrbljanac from PRAVRI and Stefano Pellegatta from Italy.
